This Reflections piece has been created on canvas, street art walls, silk screen prints, NFTs and now these foil editions. Inspired by all of the previous variations of this piece, I have created 13 different pieces in the lenses like the NFT collection, in 4 different shiny foil colours that play on popular colours from previous works with red, pink, gold and rainbow.
Botticelli was a fellow Florentine artist at the same time as Leonado da Vinci. His work has been celebrated for over 500 years with his now iconic The Birth of Venus, c. 1485, hanging in the iconic Uffizi Gallery in Florence. It has become one of the most famous paintings of all time and I celebrate that legacy in this piece, as if she has gone to Florence specifically to visit the Uffizi to see it.
